To explain residential property-acquisition program.

Informational video for homeowners who live in the vicinity of LAX affected by noise who may be eligible for property acquisition by City of Los Angeles. Videos were produced for two separate Acquisition programs: one for tenants living in the Manchester Square neighborhood, one for homeowners. Tenants’ version was produced in both Spanish and English versions.

PURPOSE:
To explain the need for a new, all-weather runway at Sea-Tac Airport.
OF INTEREST:
Video was shown every half-hour as part of CNN Airport Channel programming at Sea-Tac Airport as part of community relations efforts.

PROJECT:
Acquisition-area homeowners’ video.
PURPOSE:
To explain in detail the federally-mandated process of property acquisition and compensation to homeowners living in the area where Sea-Tac’s
third runway was constructed.

Copies of the video were distributed to every affected property owner.

SEA-TAC AIRPORT—ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
PROJECT:
Public information video highlighting the Port’s “Greenworks” program.
PURPOSE:
To showcase extensive and precedent-setting environmental protection measures put into place during 3rd runway construction.

Environmental protection measures included runoff-filtration plant, creek and stream protection, air pollution control, waste management and recycling, landscaping, etc.

PURPOSE:
To teach safe driving procedures to those needing access to airport ramps.
