We produced our first airport video (it was 16mm film back then) in 1975 for
Air France and Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. The Los Angeles office of Air France had asked its Paris headquarters to produce a marketing piece about the then-brand new airport, but that request was never fulfilled. Air France-LA eventually hired us to go to Paris to do the job. That eventually led to a series of videos for
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Finnair.
Over the last 9 years, we’ve produced over two dozen videos for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for both internal and external communications. And we’ve recently completed three major projects for Los Angeles World Airports (the office that operates LAX, Van Nuys, and Ontario International Airport.
Some examples of videos in this category:
LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS--SOUNDPROOFING OFFICE
Los Angeles World Airports (the City of Los Angeles office that operates LAX, Van Nuys Airport, and Ontario International Airport) offers soundproofing to thousands of homeowners who live in the vicinity of Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport. The video explains in detail the process of soundproofing and the various options available to homeowners.

SEA-TAC AIRPORT--3RD RUNWAY CONSTRUCTION
Over the next few years, 14 million cubic yards of fill dirt will be brought to the west side of Sea-Tac Airport in order to form the foundation for the new runway now under construction. All of that dirt creates a huge potential for runoff into nearby salmon-bearing streams.
This video documents the extensive systems Sea-Tac Airport has built in order to control stormwater runoff from the massive runway project.

City of Los Angeles (Los
Angeles World Airports Office):
Kemp Communications recently completed work on a major security-training
video for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The video will be
mandatory viewing for all new employees coming to work in any capacity at
LAX. The airport’s current workforce is approximately 50,000.

SEA-TAC AIRPORT—CNN AIRPORT CHANNEL
This video was designed to explain the need for a new, all-weather runway at
Sea-Tac Airport. The video was shown every half-hour for over a year as part of CNN Airport Channel programming at Sea-Tac Airport.

SEA-TAC AIRPORT--NOISE REMEDY OFFICE
There are hundreds of properties affected in varying degrees by jet noise in the area surrounding Sea-Tac Airport. Many homeowners are eligible for noise remedy measures such as sound insulation, new windows, new doors, etc. This video describes what
Sea-Tac Airport will do in terms of remediation for those who qualify. The video is shown to homeowners at regular briefings.

SEA-TAC AIRPORT—OPERATIONS DIVISION
This video teaches safe driving procedures to those needing access to airport ramps.
The video is shown to anyone applying for Sea-Tac Airport driving permit.

SEA-TAC AIRPORT--FAA
The FAA mandates that an extensive set of security procedures be followed by anyone working at the nation’s airports—whether they’re short-term employees, or permanent. This video is used to teach these policies and procedures, and is shown in a classroom setting to anyone coming to work for any and all employers at Sea-Tac.
