Following
is a sampling of recent projectsCity of Los Angeles (Los
Angeles World Airports Office):
Kemp Communications recently completed work on a major security-training
video for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The video will be
mandatory viewing for all new employees coming to work in any capacity at
LAX. The airport’s current workforce is approximately 50,000.
University of Washington—Harborview Medical Center:
Acute Lung Injury (ALI) kills many thousands of people each year. ALI can
occur as a result of trauma or illness, and represents a complex set of
conditions that cause extreme damage to the body’s organs. Doctors at the
University of Washington believe a set of simple changes in therapeutic
approaches in treating ALI could save many lives. Kemp Communications was
chosen to produce a training video aimed at doctors, nurses, and therapists
designed to instruct them in these life-saving techniques. The video is now
in wide distribution.
APCO Worldwide—Ford Motor Company
The Ford Motor Company’s Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (CVPI) is the
most popular police cruiser in the United States. Critics have charged that
the car’s design has led to unnecessary fuel tank fires as a result of
traffic accidents. Ford’s Dearborn headquarters has worked with APCO
Worldwide’s Seattle office to communicate to police departments about the
company’s response, including an upgrade package available to departments.
APCO hired Kemp Communications to produce a video communicating the
company’s position. The video is now being distributed nationwide.
